Day 1: 

We will depart this morning for our Grand Hollanday Christmas expedition. Our first stop is the Christkindl Market in Grand Rapids. Reminiscent of the German-style markets you can walk outside amongst the 60+ artisan food and gift vendors while enjoying the holiday entertainment. The market is connected to the indoor downtown market if you need to warm up. After lunch on your own, we will visit Frederik Meijer Gardens for the Festival of Trees Display. Then, venture outdoors and discover the beauty of nature with wintertime walks. Indoors and out, their magnificent grounds sparkle with 350,000 lights. We’ll have time to wander around the Gardens. Our next stop is the Robinette Apple Haus Christmas Gift Barn for a chance to find those unique items. We will then check into our hotel and enjoy dinner with their Evening Kickback. Our day ends with a drive through Comstock Park which features over a million lights and animated Christmas displays before returning to our hotel.

Day 2: 

After an included breakfast at the hotel we will have the opportunity to explore the Critter Barn with a guide. Not only will we get to learn the inner workings of the operational farm, we will get to meet the stars of the barn – donkeys, cows, geese, rabbits and more. Our time will end with a live nativity performance including many of these live animals. From here we will travel to downtown Holland for some Christmas shopping and cheer. With its small boutiques and name brand shops there’s something for everyone’s Christmas list here.
