This summer-camp, a spin on our adaptive art class allows participants to explore their creative side! The projects will use different materials to create fun and exciting summer-themed take-home keepsakes.

Arcade Mania STEAM Camp This Kids-Choice Challenge Island adventure puts a 100% SCREEN-FREE STEAM twist on popular video games. From Super STEAMio to Island Blox to Mine Island to Fort Island to retro-inspired games like Space Aliens and Pinball Machines, we’ll build looping gliders, ziplines, pyramid slingshots, race carts, volcanic eruptions, snowball runs, pet habitats, sports stadiums, and many other fun, hands-on engineering challenges! You and your STEAM Team will swap game consoles for creativity and joysticks for ingenuity and imagination as you take on islands of low-tech STEAM challenges created with game-loving kids in mind! Swing into Skyhawks Beginning Golf, powered by Payne Stewart Golf Experiences. This beginning program focuses on fun and repetition with a games-based approach that can be played on any surface. Specialized equipment is used to ensure early success for young players. Key skills like putting and chipping are taught through engaging activities. Who: Curious kids entering grades K-6. What: A confidence-boosting STEM summer camp where kids build creative inventions and lasting friendships. Led by qualified local educators, the camps offer new and exciting hands-on experiences. This year’s brand-new program will illuminate imaginations, inspire curiosity and help kids build essential STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) skills through collaboration and problem solving. Campers explore hands-on challenges and open-ended adventures designed to unlock creativity and help them shine their brightest! Where: Right here in Lake Shore Public Schools! Crayola® Legends & Lore: Fables Unlock a bold creative quest- where towering snow legends, ancient guardians, and playful folk creatures spark ideas that kids can’t wait to bring to life! Campers will try out different materials and techniques to make story-inspired projects using Crayola® supplies. Each day brings a new fable and a project that shows just how far their creativity can go. Along the way, they’ll share stories, laugh together, and make new friends while creating projects they’ll be proud to bring home. Our instructors keep the energy high and the atmosphere encouraging, making sure kids stay engaged and excited to try new things. All supplies are included. No experience needed—just imagination and a chance to create something special. Tales and Fables are designed to be different, so kids can enjoy both for fresh stories and projects all summer long.

Any boy or girl who has ever picked up a bat, a ball and dared to dream the dream will find these week-long camps about as close to Tigers baseball heaven as they can get to being their favorite Tigers players. Tigers Territory loves its baseball and softball. From tee-ball to travel ball, this is truly one of the nation's great hotbeds for these wonderful games. As a professional baseball organization, the Detroit Tigers have so much to share with the tens of thousands of players, parents and coaches who love baseball and softball as much as we do! Our promise is to create a world class Detroit Tigers Baseball Experience that will create lifelong memories for every boy and girl who joins us. Read on and see why this summer could be the best summer ever for your young player. Camp Includes Every camper will be given a full, MLB quality Detroit Tigers uniform (jersey, pants, hat and belt). If you are going to train like a major leaguer, might as well dress like one. V.I.P. trip to Comerica Park including a Q&A with a current player You will receive four tickets to one Tigers home game. You will be able to select a date from a list of approved dates. Location of game tickets to be determined, subject to availability. Keepsake graduation certificate commemorating your attendance at a Detroit Tigers Baseball Camp. Returning campers will receive a unique commemorative patch to proudly display on his/her new uniform. Subject to change if required by the Department of Health or MLB. The 2026 camp cost will be $405, plus a small processing fee. This includes 30 hours of pro-grade instruction, four Tigers game tickets, a full Tigers uniform and a V.I.P trip to Comerica Park including meeting a current player. You get all that plus unforgettable friendships and memories, all for about what some of us pay a babysitter on an hourly basis and Tigers Camp is definitely not a babysitting service. That’s actually a pretty good deal. Read below and see how you might be able to reduce the price. Additional Details TIME TO SIGN UP The cost is $445 (use PROMO CODE LSPS45 for a $45 discount). You may pay in full online OR, before May 1, 2026, you may reserve your spot with a refundable $175 deposit. The balance will be due on May 1, 2026. PARTICIPANT AGES Camps are open to boys and girls ages 6 to 14. CAMP TIMES Camps run Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm. FAMILY AND FRIENDS DISCOUNT If you register two or more children at the same time, a $20 discount will be applied to each registration fee. In order to receive this Family/Friends Discount the registrations must be submitted together. Use code FF20 on both registrations to receive this discount. For FSA reimbursement purposes, the camp's FEIN is 45-0643499. CANCELLATION POLICY You may cancel your registration up to 30 days prior to the first day of camp and receive a full refund. LUNCH Campers should bring their own lunch and drinks. Please make sure to affix your player’s name to these items. And PLEASE send your ballplayer with plenty of sunscreen! INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY In the event of inclement weather, outdoor camp activities will be moved indoors. Our curriculum has provisions for excellent indoor activities and instruction. We reserve the right to cancel camp days for weather-related reasons and no refunds will be given. Every effort will be made to complete instruction. In our first four seasons we have not canceled a single camp day. COMPLIMENTARY TIGERS TICKETS Each camper will receive four tickets for a choice of one of several 2025 Tigers home games. These Camper Reunion Games provide a great chance to reunite with new friends from camp. You will be able to select a date from a list of approved dates. Participants gain confidence and learn life lessons like teamwork and leadership in a fun, supportive environment. Suit up and get in the game with Skyhawks Flag Football!

In this fun-filled, four-day experience, campers will be introduced to the fundamentals of karate. The program highlights: Life skills: Leadership Respect Self-confidence Self-discipline Physical Fitness Strength Training Games Flexibility Nutrition Danger Awareness How to avoid danger Proper use of 911 Self-Defense Home Safety Anti-Bully Program How to avoid conflict Non-violent tactics How to walk away with confidence Students should wear comfortable clothing and bring a labeled water bottle to camp.

NASA and Mad Science collaborate to educate the next generation! Children go on a voyage of discovery to space with unique hands-on activities and amazing demonstrations. They explore the sun and stars, space technology, rocket science, the atmosphere, planets and moons, supernovas and more!

Inspire the inventor and scientist in this Ultimate STEM-Makers Camp! Campers will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and the most important of all --- their mind! With a little bit of ingenuity children will create catapults and forts,and even construct their own working Light Sabers to take home!! While Thomas Edison said "invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration", this camp is 100% FUN! Daily themes include: Do Like da Vinci; Modern & Medieval Machines; Edison, Bell, & Tesla; Awesome Inventions; and Shipwrecked Shelters! This camp is sure to make your kiddo exclaim, “Eureka!”

Embark on an adventure with Mini-Hawk, a multi-sport program for children aged 5 - 7 years. It offers a fun, structured environment to explore various sports, enhancing balance and coordination. Campers improve athletically while learning sportsmanship and teamwork. Join us for a playful introduction to athletics!

Students will develop competitive gaming skills in two of Nintendo's most popular titles: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Mario Kart. Campers will learn fundamental game mechanics, techniques, tournament strategies, and sportsmanship while competing in daily brackets and team challenges. The camp combines skill development with collaborative gameplay, culminating in a final championship tournament where students showcase their progress.
