Students Must have turned 5 years old in order to use the S.A.C.C. program! 2025/ 2025 Rates: Hourly Rate AM Session: $6.75 an hour PM Session: $9.00 an hour (includes a healthy snack) Hourly Rate with a Sibling Discount AM Session: $5.75 an hour PM Session: $7.00 an hour (includes a healthy snack) Registration will be completely online and there will not be an in person option. Please note, just like a coveted concert ticket, multiple families can register at the same time.   • Lakeside Palette Club

    Introduction to the Lakeside Palette Club The Lakeside Palette Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting artists and their work in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. We are part of the St. Clair Shores Parks and Recreation Department. The Club was founded in 1947 and has been continuously active since. See the newsletter for meeting dates and locations. We are also live-streaming our meetings online through Zoom. At the monthly meetings we discuss club business and provide either a demonstration by an artist in any of the different medias - pen and ink, oil and acrylic, watercolor, pastel, etc, and twice a year we have a judge visit to critique member paintings. There also is time at the meetings for refreshments and to socialize and learn what is happening in the various nearby communities, and opportunities of where and when to display members' art. The club also partners with different venues in SCS and nearby communities to display our art to the public - restaurants, city buildings, etc... We also sponsor two Art shows each year for members, one in the Fall, and one in the Spring. We have "studio painting" every Tuesday from 11-3 at North Lake High School where our artists gather to paint, share tips and socialize. During the summer we add a Saturday studio at Blossom Heath Beach House East Room from 11-3. Also during the summer, the club hosts paint-outs at nearby parks and private homes. Session four brings you the thrill of: NASA Academy of Future Space Explorers NASA and Mad Science collaborate to educate the next generation! Children go on a voyage of discovery to space with unique hands-on activities and amazing demonstrations. They explore the sun and stars, space technology, rocket science, the atmosphere, planets and moons, supernovas and more! At school dismissal, students will report to _______ room for the program. At program dismissal, you will promptly pick-up your student at door # ________ at 4:30 p.m SACC students can be checked into SACC at parent request.

  • TGA After School Golf Program (Grades K- 5)

    Our 2025-26 after-school programming takes place on Tuesdays at immediately after school at Rodgers Elementary School with several exciting activities for your student to explore. Session two brings you the excitement of: TGA makes it convenient and fun for your child to learn to play golf right at school! Our curriculums were specially designed by industry-leading golf professionals and education specialists to ensure that lesson plans are age-appropriate and easy to understand and retain. Students will experience a mix of golf instruction, rules and etiquette lessons, educational components, character development lessons and physical activity as they advance through the five-level program. Our screened instructors have a passion for working with children and are trained to help your student-athlete develop a strong foundation of skills and knowledge as well as a passion for the sport. Class meets after school for six weeks. TGA provides all equipment. First-time students receive a TGA hat and Student Handbook Continuing students (orange, red, blue and black levels) receive a different gift for their level. On the final day, all students receive a hat clip corresponding to the level they just completed. TGA guarantees a student-coach ratio of 8-1 or better.
